If anyone could add a touch of Americana to something steeped in German culture, it's Mary Myers. In sharp contrast to the Old World nutcrackers, Mary's pieces echo the primitive look of early American folk art. What makes Mary's designs especially unique, is that they are hand carved and painted, one at a time, by Mary.
She has been featured in numerous national magazines. She was selected to replicate designs for the Folk Art Museum in New York City. In 1996, she was comissioned to design ornaments and a nutcracker tree top for one of the trees in the oval office of the White House.
