Sculpted Santa Artists We're so glad you've loved these santa artists. We are happy to offer 2 new {for us} artists here, as well as some old favorite sculpted santa artists, for collecting or gift giving. This folk artist, Shari Lutz, is new for us this year. We were struck by her absolutely wonderful hand sculpted faces and hands; as well as the charm of her clothing and vintage accessories. Here we offer some truly spectacular, hand sculpted, paper mache santas, designed by David Strand, and hand made in Germany by Ino Schaller. These amazing works of art are actually a reproduction of the antique candy containers, that are so rare. He is continuing a 100 year old German tradition in hand crafting these wonderful old world pieces. These works of art are part of a limited edition collection, and are all numbered and signed by the artist.

We are very excited to offer here some very rare and wonderful creations by Mary Calehuff, called "Nodders". They consist of 2 or more components designed and balanced to go together and enhance movement. A counterbalanced weight inside the body helps produce the movement. Antique nodders are very rare and rarely available. Each of these nodders are hand sculpted in papier-mache, and carefully hand painted and detailed. All toys and embellishments are authentic, or hand made reproductions, and any baskets are hand woven. Each piece is limited to a production of 25 or less, and are signed, numbered, and dated in the year of it's copyright. As a symbol of good luck, a lady bug is included on each one.
